I had enough of it!
I'm Alexis – and I was fed up. The sticky feeling in summer, the discomfort on my body, the frustration that this was supposed to be normal.
I tried everything: tight, loose, expensive, athletic. And yet: always the same problems. Instead of comfort – compromises. Instead of freedom of movement – constant tugging. At some point it was clear: this couldn't go on.
I asked myself: Why is this happening? And what can be done better?
The answer is clear
Men's underwear has been made according to the same rules for decades, ignoring how men are built. The industry clings to conventions instead of addressing the simple question: What should underwear actually feel like?
I bought a sewing machine, taught myself to sew, and started developing a pair of shorts myself. The first pattern. The first prototype. And suddenly everything was different: comfortable, functional, stable. Freedom of movement instead of frustration.
Thus MANDERWEAR® was born
Together with my wife Julia, I founded MANDERWEAR® – to free men from uncomfortable shorts.
Now we make underwear that truly fits – with a design based on the anatomy and needs of men. No twisting, no squeezing, no unnecessary seams. Instead, a clean cut and a feeling of comfort you'll notice immediately.
We define a new standard
MANDERWEAR® is not a fashion product. It's a statement.
